Finally, some time to rest

I love school, but what I love even more is when I can check another semester off of my schooling career. During the semester I sometimes feel really overwhelmed and like I don't have any time. When it's over though, I think, "that wasn't too bad." It is quite a liberating feeling to have one more semester completed. I'm sure for those of you that are or have been in school can relate, right?

Anyway, I am so excited that I can finally read for LEISURE! There is nothing like the feeling of not having to do a thing, and being able to fill that time with the things that you may have been missing in your busy life. I have a whole bunch of books that I want to read. We'll see how many I finish (we are going to be skiing too, which could cut down on the number of books completed).

For those of you who might be wondering what is a good book to read, I would highly recommend this book.

Have any of you read this book? Didn't you think it was amazing!? I had some time during the semester to read this book because it's not too long (doable in a weekend). I can not believe what the author of this book had to go through physically, emotionally, and psychologically before the age of 16. Reading this book made me realize that we should all be very grateful for the lives we may lead. No matter how difficult they may seem there is NO way they could ever be as difficult as this boy's. If you end up reading it let me know what you think.

I just finished Omnivore's Dilemma and just started Ender's Game today, but I'll check out that book next.

check out Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer if you haven't already. It's doable in 2 days. I can't put it down.
