A slew of Finn videos

I haven't posted videos of Finn in awhile, so I thought I'd give you all an update on what he's been doing and saying. A new word that he says is, "peacock." It's one of my favorite words he says. Right up there with "zebra."

He has also been diaper free for awhile now. Since he turned two in May, he only wore diapers for naps and bedtime. Now, he is totally diaper free, which is really nice. Of course he still has pee accidents now and again. But not very often. I'm glad I won't have to buy, smell, or change diapers for sometime.

I haven't posted videos of Finn for everyone to see for awhile, so I thought it was about time. The first one was taken at my parent's house. Finn loves to imitate Dennen working out. So we decided to teach Finn how to do some pull-ups on their monkey bars. Do people still call them that? Or is it tricky bars?



This second one is of Finn running around our place. The way he runs cracks me up every time! He is doing so many new and funny things lately. I love it.

We introduced Finn to cotton balls the other day. He decided that it would be fun to put them in his mouth and spit them out.



He has also learned to jump and then land on his bum.



Besides playing with Finn, I've been making some baby girl shoes for Rowan. Here are some pictures of them.

I bought the 100% wool felt here, and the pattern for the shoes here. I kind of just made up the flower patterns from ones that I've seen. And I bought the ric-rac and pom-pom trim at a fabric store (I'm sure you could find it online too).

I'm not gonna lie... I'm super excited to have a girl! Most wouldn't pin me as the girly type, but I think there are so many cute baby girl clothes and accessories out there. Finn will be a great big brother to her, and I'm excited to see how he takes to her.

Dinner time

Rock candy sucker in one hand + squeezing fruit in the other = a hilarious dinner time. We laughed sooo hard when Finn squeezes the honeydew after it falls on his chest. The face he makes is awesome!!
