Visitors continued...

My mom and Megan's flight came in on a Tuesday morning. After we went to the Bug Light and Willard Beach, we came back to our place and my mom took a nap as Megan and I decided what stellar activities we were going to undertake next. We made a list, and from there, decided what we were going to do to make their Maine visit the best evah (Mainers often don't pronounce the "r" in words).

Tyler showed up Wednesday morning from Boston to start partying with us. Side-note: he just got a job in
New York City and will be moving there this next week to start. Congrats bro! Throughout the week, we were able to visit and do tons of fun things in the area! If anyone knows how the Laird family (mom's side) works, you know that vacations are not for loafing around. It's go, go, go! Tiresome? Most Definitely. But when you may only visit a place once in your lifetime, you need to take advantage of all it has to offer. Right?

Dennen wasn't able to do much with us because he was so busy with school. But here and there, we would convince him to come and hang out with us. One of my favorite things that Dennen was able to do with us was  the Yarmouth (pronounced "yar-mith") Clam Festival. Basically, a happenin' New England party with a plentiful supply of clams, other sea food, crafts, performers, a parade, and lots of people watching.

Finn was on a vacation high the whole time! He (and we) love it when other people entertain and play with him. Megan was the "chosen" carrier. Finn would say "up, up," whenever he got sick of walking around. He didn't want me to carry him though, he wanted Aunt Megan. He also enjoyed having Tyler show him how to put rocks in an empty soda bottle and shake them around. Grandma is also a favorite and gave him baths, read him books, made a garage for his cars, and all around just paid attention to him (which he doesn't get all the time from Dennen and me).

Thanks for the visit guys! We love and miss you, and can't wait to see you again.
