What should I do?

Like most college students, I spend a lot of time thinking about what I am going to do for the rest of my working life, or, in other words, thinking about a career. As I sit here staring at a computer, bored out of my cranium, in an empty lab, craving to hear a human voice, I was wondering, "What do other people see me doing?" I'm mostly comfortable in the direction I'm headed, but I'm always open to suggestions. So please, suggest away, no matter how ridiculous the job.

(This picture doesn't have anything to do with the post, I just like it.)
(Also, I usually don't read blogs without pictures.)
(Also, there are hidden objects in the picture: a nail, key, dog, pennant, spoon, bird, teacup, handbell, hairbrush, fork, duck, shoe, arrow, and an iron. Enjoy!)

Dear husband,

You should definitely NOT be a doctor or dentist (I would never see you). You should definitely do something where we could have the opportunity to live abroad. You should also do something where you have the opportunity to do research/collect data/whatever outside (because I know you'll go stir crazy sitting at a computer for 30+ years). You should also do something that you love and enjoy. Whatever you decide upon will be fabulous and fun I'm sure. I can't wait to see what you choose!

Love,
Wife

Next great white ninja??

But seriously, I could see you as a reporter for the National Geographic. You'd also make a pretty sweet advocate/intermediary between contrasting groups. For example, work for computer companyl teaching indigenous peoples how to use computer and better plan their communities.

I have been giving this a lot of thought. I can tell Tyler has been learning in school, because I don't even understand what he is talking about :)

Plan A: Find something that will pay well and then in spare time you have $ to do what you want.

Plan B: Find the something you love to do, no matter the pay but then you may not have the $ to do what you want

Plan C: Find something that pays well, that you feel you would like to do... something with people or a good purpose that is not behind a desk all day... something that would do well in a struggling economy, because I believe it will be a struggle from here on out. It's the best of both worlds :)

You guys will figure it out... you are both smart people!
