Here are five songs that I listen to a lot right now. "Abba" is just awesome, and they remind me of 7th grade. "Band of Horses" reminds me of when Dennen bought us tickets for Vegoose. "Beirut" reminds me of traveling in Europe. "Yeasayer" is one of my new favorites. I heard one of their songs in a ski movie and fell in love.
I love that I have memories connected with all the songs I like! I don't really have five favorite songs of all time because my music likes and dislikes keep evolving. My dad was the one who first introduced me to good music, classic rock. He would sing all the songs he knew (or didn't know) in the car with my friends present . Somewhat embarrassing, but isn't that what parents are for?

Did watching Mama Mia with your dad on Saturday have anything with Abba making the cut on Monday, per chance?

Yeah, watching Mama Mia definitely rekindled my love for Abba. I like a lot of Built to Spill stuff, but I just chose the 5 most recent songs I had added to my playlist.
