The Finn-meister

It's been a while since I've contributed to this blog.  I figured, with some gentle prodding from the Mrs., that it was time for a post. Since lately our life has been revolving around our youngster, here are a few things on Finn:
  • He sticks his big toe up when he eats.
  • He loves watching the mobile Hils made for him more than anything on Earth.  It's like baby drugs.
  • His hair sticks straight up on the crown of his head like Alfalfa.
  • When he wishes, he controls the thoughts and actions of his parents with his crying.
  • The love for his binky is only second to the love for his mobile.  He loves it so much that Hils will use her foot to keep it in his mouth while she changes him (she's pretty talented...).  We initially had misgivings about letting him use a binky, but misgivings go out the window when the boy starts crying.  Parents, you know what I'm talking about.
  • He loves bath time (who doesn't?) and I think he's going to be a swimmer.  He looks long and lean with big feet and he's already allowed Dad to dip him in Bear Lake and Logan River.
  • He's going to be a Momma's boy.  He smiles a lot when Mom is around.
  • He resembles a puma when he sleeps on my arm and sometimes looks like a frog when he sleeps on his belly.
  • He's getting a double chin and it's adorable.
  • He still has hairy hobbit ears.
  • He sometimes makes a face like the guy from Rocket Man (Google tells me his name is Harland Williams) when he has to poop.

That's the poop face.

Thanks for your sweet comment. I'm still new to all this blogging. Ben's mom is from Austria. Her name is Trudie and she speaks such beautiful German. I'm really starting to like the sound of it, lol. How about you does Finn's Oma speak German to him.

I need to see that little guy again. I am glad things are on the up and up. It looks like you guys are running a pretty tight ship. I like what I see.

Hahaha, LOVE those animal comparisons! So funny! And Hil, I'm impressed with your coordination to keep his binky in his mouth with your foot while changing him. You are a natural at this mom thing! :) And I learned the same lesson when Macie was an extremely fussy baby....binkies are amazing, wonderful things and an absolute essential in our household.
