He's come a long way

Here are some pictures of Finn that we've taken recently. I took one of him next to a premie onsie that he used to wear. I can't believe he was that small! He's now in newborn size and fits in some 0-3 month old clothes. Many of you never saw him when he was that small (or realized that he was that small because we always had him swaddled, he looked like a head on top of a wad of blanket). He's gone from 4 lbs 3oz (brand spankin' new) to 10 lbs and something oz (4 months).

We are so, so grateful that he is healthy. A couple in our church congregation just had a baby with spina bifada. I can not even comprehend how difficult and heart breaking that would be. Children are born every day with very severe disabilities and other types of medical problems. It breaks my heart that children have these issues. I also feel for the parents. The emotions they are dealing with probably seem unbearable at times.

I want to know who you all think Finn looks like? So here are some baby pictures of Dennen and me (I love the one of Dennen and his mom).

Last but not least. I make the hats with the pom pom on them that Finn is wearing in the pictures. If you'd like one for your wee one I'll make one for frizzle. You just have to buy the yarn. I can make newborn size all the way up to 1-5 years old.

I think he looks more like you, but I suck at this game.

That's a cool tub in the post below. I swear I haven't taken a bath since I was like five. Maybe my OCD is baths. :) I have never noticed hair stuck to me after a shower!

Finn definitely has your eyes, I think. He is so cute! I really can't believe how tiny that onesie is he used to wear!

Okay, so I am DYING over those hats. You are amazing! I think I really need one for Macie. If you let me know how much yarn to buy then I'll get it and send it to you. Thanks Hil!!

I think he looks like you too. I'm soso glad he's growing big and healthy. I am also grateful for modern medicine and health.

Also those beanies are incredible. I just might have to hit you up for one ;)

That would probably be easier to just reimburse you for the yarn. I'm SO excited. As far as colors go, I totally trust your opinion, so you can just pick whatever you think is cool for a 15 month old girl. :) Also, I was going to ask...my sister is having a baby boy next month and I would love to give her a beanie as a gift. If you don't have time, it's totally fine, but if you DO, I'll pay you for it - more than just the yarn cost! Just let me know.

Wow, that picture next to the onesie really shows how much he's grown. I love the hats. I would love to have one for Brynn and possibly Mason, but I most definitely would pay you for your time as well as the yarn. Let me know.

Definitely your eyes! I was going to comment on the hats and tell you how adorable they are before you even said anything about them! I'll totally pay you for yarn if you'll make one for Berkley! (Even though she'll probably rip it right off her head...) She'll be 1 in January so probably a 1 year old size. As far as color goes, I'd be happy with whatever. I think brown and pink might be cute? Let me know.
