Teeny tiny

I've been crocheting these little flowers out of crochet thread. Let me just say that I'm glad I have good eye sight because I dare say this has been my most intense crochet project yet.

I've had some friends say that they have wanted to learn how to crochet. The book I used to learn is called "I can't believe I'm crocheting!" You think the title is great? Check out the girl on the cover.

Haha, she's a cheese ball if I've ever seen one!!
Anyways, this is a great book to help you get started. Some of the more complicated stitches aren't in this book, but you can just look them up online. You can find patterns on Etsy and on Ravelry. Just choose a beginner pattern and you're on your way. Good luck!

By the way, thanks for updating your blogs everyone. I think a lot more people than normal posted recently.

So what do I do if I let my 3 year old play with my favorite brand new head band with a bright yellow flower on it and then when I got it back from her I had a beautiful yellow head band and a really pretty flower, but they weren't together anymore.

Put a dime next to that flower for comparison. Nobody would believe how small the stitches are.

Oh wait, I guess they could tell by the bobby pin.

The girl on that book is ridiculously awesome! :) Thanks for posting that - I will definitely go buy a copy because one of my goals for this year is to learn to crochet. And I LOVE that teensy flower clip. Are those in your etsy shop now? I think I'll go take a gander.
