Invisible book shelfs

For awhile now, I have been wanting to move the books on Finn's dresser so I could put a globe that we have on it. I saw some invisible book shelfs online and finally got around to putting some up. They used brackets, but all I had around were book ends from Staples. There was just one hole on each of the book ends, so I used those to put a screw into the wall. Next, I bought some 1/8" mirror mounts which cost me $1.50 for the pack and used them to help give the book ends more support. Kinda getto looking without the books on them... Oh well, they hold Finn's books fine.

I will love it when we don't have dark nasty wood paneling anymore.
