You NEED to do this!

Many things on the internet can be time-wasters if you let them be. One thing that I have really liked though, has been Pinterest. I have actually done quite a few of the things I have found on there. One in particular that I recently did was this. I think many of you have actually pinned it as well.

I finally made us some blog books. I used to be an avid journal writer (I filled up 8 while growing up). As soon as Dennen and I got married I stopped writing in my journal. I have no idea why. Having a blog has made me feel less guilty about this. The program is free to download and is called blurb. It's an easy program to use and gives you options of many different layouts. I made 2 books in 2 days. They are compiled of the last 6 years of our lives. I got the smallest, most inexpensive books made. They are 7" x 7".

Here are some pictures of our blog books.

They are very nice quality. Word of advice. Make sure that whenever you do a blog post, you make your pictures the extra large option. Some of the pictures from our earliest blog posts had to be pretty small so the quality would look okay printed, because when we did the blog post the pictures were saved so small.

Overall, I am way happy with how they turned out! It also gives me more incentive to do better, more meaningful blog posts (always with pictures of course).

I'm happy to see our awesome moab trip made your blog book! I was thinking about that trip the other day because I'm almost 7 months along and that's how far along I was with Luce when we went! That's so crazy it's been 3 years since our little adventure. A blog book is such a great idea! I need to do that one of these days when we have some extra monies. :)

Of course our Moab trip made the blog book! I'm 7 months along right now, and was thinking, "wow, Michelle was a trooper for going on that trip." I have no desire to do any traveling right now, especially with Finn in tow. Yeah, they were kind of pricey... I wanted to make them before PA school so I wouldn't feel so bad about spending the money.

I LOVE PINTEREST....And I waste way too much time on it - however I have made/done quite a few things I've pinned and I'm not going to be working in a few weeks :( - but :) so I anticipate making/doing quite a few more of the cheaper things on there! I LOVE your books! I've been wanting to do that with our sad little blog - thanks for posting where to get it!
