Improvement

Along with the new year comes resolutions... I don't know how I feel about the tradition of coming up with resolutions every time January first hits. Shouldn't we be trying to improve throughout every day, week, month, and year? I'd rather not have to automatically come up with a resolution when the clock strikes midnight.

So I've decided to wait until now. Here is one of my resolutions: I want to be the person that follows through with fun activities with my friends. Let me explain. Have any of you ever been talking with your friends about fun things that you SHOULD do in the future and everyone agrees that "yes, that sounds so fun, we should totally do that!" Everyone is sooo stoked to hang out in the future, but no one sets a date or is actually that serious about following through. It's a nice thought, but who's going to put the activity together? I don't know how many of you have a problem with this, but I sure have lately. I want to be the one to actually put the activity together and make sure that it happens.

That's so true. That happens all the time. That's a great resolution!

I like that resolution! I totally know what you mean about saying stuff but never following through, I think everyone is a little guilty of that.

AMEN. :) I agree with the whole constantly trying to improve thing and with your specific resolution. I've been trying to be better at that - I hate when things always fall through!! So good luck to both of us in making things happen :)
